My 4th Grader

She is kind, loving, funny, thoughtful and the sweetest l'il girl on this planet! With a platinum heart, my dove is a blessing to us and anyone in her path. Baptized in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit at the tender age of 7 at One Community Church, she is growing in Christ! Duplicating what my mother did, teaching her the core values of being a Christian and seeking God first is always on first my agenda. She's learning by example how to be Christ like. Being BOLD enough to share with her friends the love of God. Treating people as she'd want to be treated... with love, kindness and respect and to never judge anyone! My daily prayer is that God continues to walk in her everyday life, shield her heart, protect her from any hurt, harm or danger and use the gift (s) He gave her to make her community an even better place and impact this world in a positive way.

My Miles of Smiles.

My gal pal

The day began with early morning rain, thunder and lightening. I wokeup very upset around 3 am. The rain was hitting my window at an angle and it scared me. So mommy and I went and hung out in the living room until the sun came up. Boy was I cranky and wasn't ready to go back to sleep no time soon. I'm cutting 2 new teeth and was running a little fever so mommy understood my frustrations. Smile. By the afternoon, I was all better and back to my normal self. Thank goodness the rain eased up so we could head out for a nice walk with Armani. It felt really good outside after the morning showers. After our walk, we sung songs, ready a few of my favorite books and played until I got really sleep, it was time for a nap. Of course it was only a kat-nap! Mommy was off today so we played and hung out with my gal-pal Armani and enjoyed the day together.

It's my birthday, let's have cake to celebrate!

The day started with my normal morning prayer, giving God for glory and praise! He blessed us with a little dove; her name is Trinity Marie. Today is extra special because she is 10 months old and I'm so amazed of how she's grown! I honestly can't see where the time went! It's true that it goes by realllllly fast. I can remember every milestone to date and each tear that went along with it. (Well, some where my tears others where Tee-Tee's tears!) Tee-Tee is my loving sister Gwen who is also Trinity's Godmother. She loves her Tee-Tee and Tee-Tee loves her some Trie. Gwen calls her Trie. (Trie - pronounced Tree is a combination of her first and middle name)

She woke up with miles of smiles as always. It's the most adorable thing to see her when she first wakes up. She sits up on her knees, rubs her eyes then plants her face in her mattress with her butt in the air and lays there for a couple seconds before pulling herself up using the bars on her bed. LOL! Mommy's little stinky-pot. Wet pamper, bright eyes, bushy hair with the look of "feed me Seymour" on her face. After her breakfast she's ready for a little playtime while mommy gets ready for work. She loves music and enjoys playing her little piano. It looks as if she's been playing for years because her focus is so intense! Yep, a pianist in the making and music to my ears.

After dressing her and singing songs to distract her while I brush and comb her hair, (she doesn't like anyone messing with her hair) we're off to daycare and mommy's off to work.

As I kissed her and waved bye-bye I thought to myself: my Lord my baby is 10 months old already... I sure could use a low-fat caramel macchiato and a slice of cake to celebrate!
